We tarp after wind tears a section off, a tree punches through, a leak opens during a storm, or a repair cannot be finished before the next band of rain. The goal is simple: keep water out long enough to protect ceilings, insulation, and belongings while a proper repair or replacement is planned.

A good tarp job is anchored, tensioned, and placed so water sheds off the roof instead of pooling on plastic. A poorly tied tarp can come loose or drive water under shingles. We treat tarping as part of the roofing job, not a temporary favor.
